We are so very sorry for Dale's family, and our loss - everyone's - at his passing. I can't think of Dale without applying the song, "You Lift Me Up." Truly God became his own - his dad, his mentor, his advisor - and Dale accomplished MUCH in his lifetime because of it. Dale's life serves as a testimony of what is accomplished when people walk in close fellowship with their Heavenly Father. Until we meet again, my friend!!

I had the privilege of meeting General Lucas just a few months before his passing. A week before he died, I visited him in his hospital room and we prayed together. What a blessing that was for me. I rest assured that he is in heaven with the Lord that he loved. He will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched. I thank God that I was one of those people.

Dale Lucas is a true American. He had a very tough childhood as he has told many. He became a soldier at the age of 17, and he told me once the Army saved him. He also said he was a Green Beret and trained with the Navy Seals. In retirement, he served others and that vocation became his full time job. Enemy bullets, bombs and whatever they threw at him never slowed him down. But Father Time has a way of catching up with all of us, and eventually his health made him slow down. Perhaps the Lord called him to run an operation for him. I know he is with the Lord and for that reason he is, and not was, because he still lives on waiting for us to catch up.

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
